Off-site work in Italy
Remote work is a huge trend nowadays due to the ever-changing business world. The ability to work from anywhere has become more than just a convenience - it's necessary to help the employees do well and keep a good work-life balance. ⚖️
At Balance Development, we understand how important it is to work together and build strong connections among colleagues. With our employees following a hybrid work model, and not having many occasions to meet, we seized the opportunity to move a portion of our team to the Parma region in Italy. Here, we worked remotely on weekdays and have conference activities planned for the weekend. This approach not only allows us to work more efficiently but also to spend quality time together.
When it comes to combining business and pleasure, our recent conference trip to Italy was the perfect blend. This enchanting country offered us not only a platform for knowledge sharing but also a chance to experience Italian culture, cuisine, and craftsmanship. As lovers of technology and engineering, we were awestruck by the powerful machines that rolled off the production line in the Lamborghini factory. Later on we enjoyed the beauty and technology of the exhibited cars as the part of the museum.
We explored the world of wine and vinegar with a guided tour and tasting at a local vineyard and balsamic vinegar producer. Sipping on the finest Italian wines and savoring aged balsamic vinegar was an exquisite treat for our palates.
Adding more cuisine and factory visit to our trip, we had the chance to take a learn the secrets of how the traditional parmesan cheese and parma ham was made. We were absolutely mind-blown after the tours.
We had the privilege of seeing the track up close and even experiencing the adrenaline rush of Formula One racing with a simulator. It was an unforgettable experience for racing enthusiasts among us.
Our trip to Italy was an amazing team-building opportunity that enhanced our professional bonds, promoting unity among us. These shared experiences not only boosted our teamwork but also removed barriers, forging a tightly-knit team prepared to excel in our consulting endeavors.
As we return to our daily work, we carry these enriched relationships with us, ready to excel in the dynamic world of consulting.
